Customers who have subscribed to The Japan Times / The New York Times directly through The Japan Times, Ltd. and pay via credit card can check their payment status through the payment service provider. We utilize the payment system provided by Stripe Japan.

2. Enter the email address you used during payment here, then click "Send."
*Please note that if you enter an email address other than the one used during payment, you will not receive the email containing the link.
3. You will receive an email titled "Your customer portal login link" at your registered email address.
4. Upon logging in to the customer portal, you will see the following screen.
What you can do in the customer portal:
① View payment history
You can check your past payment records in the "INVOICE HISTORY" section, as shown in the image above.
② Issue receipts
Clicking the area indicated by the arrow in the image above will switch the display to the screen shown below,
where you can download receipts and other documents issued by Stripe Japan.
③ (For customers with automatic renewal) You can change the credit card used for payment.
*Please note that if you are not enrolled in our automatic renewal service, you will need to re-enter your credit card information each time you renew your subscription.
First, click "Add payment method."
Enter the new card information and click Add.
The new card information will automatically become the default setting. You can also delete the old card information here.
